Hi Jacqueline it was your uncle Iain that left the first comment.

Hi, thanks for replying but none of my Dad's brothers were named Iain. So Iain cant be my Uncle. I'm sure however, we must be related. My Dad was named Murdo and his brothers names are Jock, Angus and Rab. His sister's names are Morag and Martha. My Grandfather (Angus Gillies) grew up in one of the crofts in Flodigarry. I was born (and still live) in Helensburgh. My Grandfather left the croft to come down here to Garelochhead and work piloting the Clyde Steamers, where he met my Gran and raised a family.
