In/memory of/our beloved daughter/and sister/FLORA MACDONALD MARGARET/SWIRE/born December 22nd 1964/tragically killed/on Pan Am Flight 103/over Lockerbie/on December 21st 1988. Loved, remembered/and longed for/always.

Flora Swires memory will forever be etched in my heart. I remember seeing her devastated Father on TV and his sadness at losing his beloved daughter in such a terrible way will stay with me always. Not one life ended, but a whole families. The same for all the families that lost loved ones on the same flight. How on earth do you comprehend such a terrible tragedy and waste of life. Will never forget this night for as long as I live. Was also my parent’s 25th wedding anniversary which we spent at home. Flora is the victim who I feel connection to, all down to the constant work from her brilliant father. May she always rest in peace.
