In loving memory of/our dear parents/CHRISTINA MACDONALD/died 6 June 1930/aged 36 years/DUNCAN BUCHANAN/drowned 6 December 1932/aged 45 years/our brother DONALD/lost at sea 29 June 1941/aged 19 years/also our sister and brother/JOAN and GEORGE/died in infancy/and our step-mother/CATHERINE MACPHERSON/died 4 June 1971 , aged 78 years.
