In/lovig/remembrance/of/the Revd./JOHN MacDOUGALL/minister of the F.C. congregation/of Lochs on Lewis/from 1885 to 1901/and of the U.F Church congregation/of Snizort/from 1901 to 1926/died at Balmacara/12th April 1927 aged 75 years. A warm evangelical preacher/a wise and able administrator/of public affairs/and of his beloved wife/MARY MacDONALD/died at Potree/18th June 1929, aged 76 years. "They were lovely and pleasant in their lives/and in death they were not divided."
