Does anyone know or is anyone related to Joanna McDermid, my Great-Grandfather was a Malcolm McDermid, born at Strond, Harris in 1841, parents were Donald McDermid and Sarah(Campbell?), Emigrated to Cape Breton in 1843.
I was told the McDermid's had come from Skye to Harris, and then to Cape Breton, any Information would be greatly appreciated.
