Hello Hector. Murdo had a brother Sween who was a Captain with CalMac on the Clyde. My father was Captain Malcolm Maclean and his Maclean Family came from Galtrigil and Borreraig and then the Fergusons from Fasach. I was told by Marjorie McInnes who lives in Claighan and does genealogy that I am related to Effie through the Macleans. My father never explained all the connections to me. Also Katie Macleod from Borreraig might be a cousin? Do you live on Skye? I have American friends out her near Seattle who are related to a Neil Campbell from Gatrigill along with a lady in Australia who I met through Facebook.
