In loving memory of/my beloved husband/ALEXANDER GRANT/who died at/Lonemore, Dunvegan, Skye/22nd March 1964 aged 77 years/also his wife/CHRISTINA MACASKILL/who died 14th July 1971 aged 85 years.

Praise ye the Lord.

I think that Alexander Grant was my Great uncle since I believe that he was the uncle of my father, Malcom Grant Campbell. He was known as Sandy Grant to our family and if I am correct he had two brothers, Hugh and Donald Grant both of whom I met as a child when our family used to holiday in Skye.
