Erected by/ALEXr SUTHERLAND/joiner Bernisdale/in loving memory/of his son ANGUS/killed in Gallipoli 11th Octr. 1915/and his wife/MARGARET MUNRO/who died on 19th Jany 1922/his son DAVID who died in New York/America on 29th Feby 1940/his son INNES who died at Bernisdale/8th August 1946/the above/ALEXANDER SUTHERLAND/who died 10th April 1952.

This was the first burial in this graveyard/so call it Cluadh Pheggie.
