John Maciver & family.

In memory of/the Rev. JOHN MACIVER/minister of the parish of Kilmuir/who died deeply mourned/on the 2nd day of September 1869/in the 64th year of his age, and 37th/of his ministry.  Having successively/been minister of the parishes of/Harris, Sleat and Kilmuir.

Also.in memory of his children/COLIN, born 23rd March 1843/died 2nd December 1855/MARY, born 24th November 1844/died 17th March 1855/and/DONALD, born 1st July 1861/died 3rd November 1863.

Erected as a mark of respect/by relatives, friens and parishioners.
