JAMES BROWN M.R.G.S./for 25 years Medical Officer/of Kilmuir, Uig, Skye/son of the late Rev. WILLIAM BROWN/of Cray, Glenshee/who died April 1898 aged 47 years.
For ever with the Lord.

Sacred/to the memory of/JOHN SHAW/who with unremitted fidelity discharged/ ...? labours/in this parish nine years...//The excellence in his private character cannot/be well expressed. As a christian minister/he was well known in devotedness to God/in zeal for the salvation of souls/in humility, meekness, and long suffering.
He made his exit for/a glorious immortality/on the 16th of/January 1823/in the 39th year of his age.

Sacred/to the memory of/AGNES PINKERTON SHAW/daughter of the late/Reverend JOHN SHAW/of Bracadale/and widow of the late/Reverend JOHN BROWN/of Cray Glenshee/who died 23rd November 1884/aged 62 years.

Erected in loving memory by her son/JOHN SHAW BROWN/Municipal Engineer Akyab Burmah.
