In memory of/TORQUIL MACLEOD/of Roag/died April 1866 aged 76 years/his wife/MARY MACLEOD/died June 1909, aged 76 years/their widely loved daughter/MARY ANN MACLEOD/died June 1929 aged 64 years/who lie here/also their son/DONALD MALCOLM MACLEOD/and their daughters/JESSIE and FLORA/who rest in distant places.



Erected by/JAMES TORQUIL MACLEOD, J.P./Thornleigh, Keighley, Yorkshire/son of the above/DONALD MALCOLM MACLEOD.

This is the gravestone of my great, great grandfather erected by my grandfather JT MacLeod. My father and I visited last in 2005 and left a plaque which now seems to have disappeared.
