Here rest in hope/the mortal remains of/MALCOLM NICOLSON/of Husabost/who died at Edinburgh/13th March 1852 aged 64/and of/ANNE GRANT/his beloved wife/who died at Edinburgh/13th Sep. 1866 aged 78/in memory also of/their eldest son/JOHN GRANT NICOLSON M.D./Surgeon Major Bombay Army/who died in the Red Sea/on his way home from Abyssinia/26th May 1868 aged 45/and of/their second son/DONALD GRANT NICOLSON/Barrister at law.who died at Rangoon/22nd Oct. 1869 aged 42.
