	To the dear memory/of/RODERICK MACLEOD of MACLEOD/youngest son of NORMAN 25th Chief/historian to the family/died 15th March 1934, aged 81 years/and of his wife/KATHARINE/daughter of the Rev. W. JELF/died 23rd August 1933, aged 74 years.
	Both lie buried at Mitford, Northumberland.
	To the dear and honoured memory/of/IAN BREAC MACLEOD/Lieutenant of the 2nd Batt. Black Watch/only son of RODERICK/(youngest son of NORMAN 25th Chief)/and KATHARINE, his wife. The last male heir of his line/having served through the winter of 1914-15/he was killed in action/on Aprl 17th 1915, aged 21 years.and was buried at Veille Chapelle in France.
