JOE H. MACKAY BSc., D.Sc. (For)/Conservator of Forests, Nigeria/born at Fochabers 21st May 1908/killed on Sgurr nan Gillean/18th August 1953/when a slab on the tourist route gave way beneath him/joined by his wife and best friend/ELSPETH WILKIE MILNE/who died 27th December 1999.
