In memory of/JAMES SIMPSON/bank agent born 2nd November 1857/died 19th May 1945/also of his wife LOUISA HENDERSON/born 22nd July 1850/died 1st August 1945/also of their sons/JAMES ALEC. Lieut R.A.F./died of wounds 23rd October 1916/aged 32 years/JOHN WATT 2nd Lieut. The Border Rgt./accidentally killed on active service/8th December 1916/aged 28 years.
