Forsyth MacIntosh was my gg grandfather. As far as I have been able to work out he had an illegitimate child (my great grandfather) in 1840 in Aberdeen before moving to Portree some time after 1851 where he married Susan MacDonald. Ewan and Catherine where her brother and sister
