Sacred/to the memory of/ANN, daughter of/the Revd. DONALD MACKINNON/she died on the 23rd October 1869/aged 9 months/also to the memory of/the Revd. DONALD MACKINNON/for 31 years the much loved and/respected minister of Strath/born 15th Feby 1816/died at Kilbride long the home of/his family 3rd Jany 1888.

He succeeded his father and/grand-father in the same parish/he was not only the pastor, but the/sympathic friend of rich/and poor alike.
