Farquhar McKinnon.

Erected/by/HECTOR McKINNON/in loving memory/of his father/FARQUHAR McKINNON/who died at Scullamus/on te 4th March 1890/aged 67 years.

Farquhar was the son of Niel McKinnon (1786-1862) and Mary McLean (1795-1865) md. c1820. Farquhar md. Mary Macrae(1819-1902) 24/3/1846. Whether Mary Macrae is buried in this churchyard is unknown. The son Hector(1855-1934) who erected the headstone to Farquhar left the Isle of Skye as a young man and lived at Oban, Argyll/Bute for most of his life.
